Mediation

Callioux Law has developed an effective mediation process that is designed to save people money and resolve matters with as little turmoil as possible. That process is called Third Side Mediation.

This process is specifically designed to provide you the information you need and an experienced perspective that will help get you to a resolution.

We understand that a family law issue is about what is most precious to our clients: their family. The Third Side process helps people understand the potential costs and benefits of their position while efficiently educating people on the law and likely outcomes.

Resolution is about perspective. Third Side mediation helps people get the perspective they need so they can find resolution as soon as possible.

Commonly asked Questions about our Third Side Mediation process:

1.     What is Third Side Mediation?
It is a mediation process created by the senior family law lawyers of Callioux Law proven to be successful even in contentious and combative situations.

2.     Why should I choose mediation over litigation?
Family law ligation is a very difficult and expensive process which has people who typically lack an understanding of the legal process and costs, stepping into a boxing match they are not trained for.  Through our process we can take better care of each person, and provide the perspective needed to be successful with the least cost.

3.     What makes Third Side Mediation successful?
The Third Side Mediation process focuses on providing clients with crucial knowledge, perspective, and personalized support throughout the process. By seeing the costs and risks clearly up front, the solution becomes much easier to reach.

4.     What is the cost?
Costs vary according to complexity but will be far less expensive than paying for two lawyers at the same time. Contact us to discuss the packages we can offer in your specific situation.

5.     What if the mediation is not successful in obtaining full resolution of our family law issues?
It is possible that full resolution will not be agreed to, but we will record whatever smaller agreements we can come to in a Mediated Settlement, provide a summary report, consolidate disclosure for review by your lawyers and recommend quality lawyers to represent each of you, saving you extensive legal costs going forward.

6.     How does the process work?
Your mediator will be very experienced and prepared, and each party will have their own individual counsel and assistant to support them through the process.
